Reggae rock star Omari Banks and Blondie lead guitarist Tommy Kessler joined Editorial Director Emma Rosenblum, readers, advertisers and special guests to celebrate a landmark year for Bloomberg Pursuits. With a new look for the magazine unveiled in March followed by a redesign of its digital destination on Bloomberg.com, the multimedia luxury brand has had quite a year.
200+ subscribers, as well as advertising and editorial partners, received a huge thank you from the publication on July 12th at Lightbox in Midtown Manhattan. Attendees were surrounded by beautiful imagery from Bloomberg Pursuits editorial and sponsors thanks to the venue’s digital walls which projected photos and videos across the entire venue. The night also included musical performances, scotch and champagne tastings, and other indulgences inspired by the brand’s editorial and advertising.

The Glenlivet offered blind tastings of their 15, 18, and 21-year-old scotch at the upstairs bar – guests were lined up ALL night to taste the special libation.
Omari Banks, world famous cricket player turned reggae rock star, performed courtesy of the beautiful island of Anguilla in the British Caribbean.
Terranea Resort brought a piece of their eco-friendly LA-based luxury resort to New York and offered guests delicious champagne, honey, and cheese tastings.
Tommy Kessler, lead guitarist of Blondie, closed the night with a performance courtesy of Gibson custom shop – see that guitar he’s playing, it’s worth $400,000!
