Bloomberg Media Studios recognized with multiple branded content awards

The World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) Awards and the Telly Awards have announced their 2020 winners, with Bloomberg Media Studios receiving top honors for multiple branded content campaigns.

WAN-IFRA is the global organization of the world’s press, dedicated to protecting the rights of journalists and publishers around the world to operate independent media. Bloomberg Media Studios won both First Place, for BlackRock Defining Factors, and Second Place, for Wells Fargo Quest for Better, in the Branded Content category.

The Telly Awards recognize excellence in commercial video around the world. Six campaigns produced by Bloomberg Media Studios creative teams around the world earned recognition, including: BlackRock Defining Factors (Silver winner, Branded Content Campaign: Business-to-Business); Singapore Airlines: Ventured Out (Silver winner, Online Webseries: Corporate Image); Qatar Financial Center: The Business Trip (Silver winner, Branded Content Campaign: Non-Scripted/Documentary); Wells Fargo: Quest for Better (Bronze winner, Branded Content Campaign: Business-to-Business); Macao Government Tourism Office: Memories Inspired by Macao (Bronze winner, Branded Content Campaign: Promotional); and Astana International Financial Centre: My Kazakhstan (Bronze winner, Online Webseries: Documentary).

The honored campaigns represent creative work done by Bloomberg Media Studios teams in every region, from New York to London to Dubai to Singapore. Among the stand-out ideas were connecting financial strategy to cultural relevance in order to demystify factor investing for BlackRock; combining Bloomberg and client data to drive compelling stories for AIFC; and uncovering how successful business partnerships come to be for Wells Fargo.
