Bloomberg Politics Show “With All Due Respect” Hosted By Mark Halperin and John Heilemann To Air Weekdays at 6 p.m. on MSNBC
New York — Bloomberg Media and MSNBC today announced an agreement under which Bloomberg Television’s flagship political program, “With All Due Respect,” which airs weeknights at 5 p.m. ET, will also air on MSNBC at 6 p.m. ET.
“This is a natural extension of the Bloomberg Politics brand for us,” said Bloomberg Media CEO Justin B. Smith. “‘With All Due Respect’ has been a strong multi-platform success story, and we welcome this opportunity to expand its reach to new audiences through this partnership with MSNBC.”
“I’ve known and respected Mark and John’s work for many years,” said Andrew Lack, Chairman of NBC News and MSNBC. “Collaborating with them on our air will strengthen our already deep and experienced political lineup as MSNBC heads into a pivotal election year.”
“With All Due Respect,” hosted by Bloomberg Politics Managing Editors Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, also streams live on BloombergPolitics.com. The site – driven by video from “With All Due Respect” – ranks #5 in digital video among all political news outlets. Building on the program’s success since it launched a year ago, Bloomberg TV recently expanded it to an hour.
“With All Due Respect” will make its MSNBC debut in January 2016, at the start of the election year. The network, known as the Place for Politics, has historically performed well in election seasons and is currently sharpening its focus on hard news in the daytime and political analysis in the early evening.
“Halperin and Heilemann have been valuable contributors to MSNBC for a long time, and viewers know they’re getting unique insight and perspective when they see them on our air. This new collaboration brings them even deeper into the fold at the perfect time,” said Phil Griffin, President of MSNBC.
“We have made a number of exciting changes to programming on Bloomberg TV this year and are very happy with the results,” said Al Mayers, Global Head of Bloomberg Television and Radio. “‘With All Due Respect’ represents the strengths of Bloomberg: great reporting, deep expertise and sophisticated analysis.”
