Bloomberg Media Extends Partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise to Launch Sponsored Green Room in Europe

HPE Green Room: London – Coming to Bloomberg’s New European Headquarters

Bloomberg Media today announced the launch of the HPE Green Room: London, as part of its ongoing partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Designed to present an immersive experience for Bloomberg Television’s guests and engaged viewers, the HPE Green Room: London is a global expansion of the network’s HPE Green Room in New York.

The green room has been built alongside the new state-of-the-artBloomberg Television studio in the firm’s new European headquartersin the heart of the City of London, which was recently named the world’s most sustainable office building.

The room features bespoke HPE brand elements and touchpoints to engage Bloomberg Television guests and demonstrate HPE’s role in global business. Bloomberg personalities will film live data checks against a backdrop of high-definition monitors displaying HPE imagery and animations. In addition, Bloomberg will integrate the HPE brand into the morning on-air advertising breaks, with custom data boards uniquely packaged with Bloomberg index data.

The HPE Green Room: London builds on the existing long-standing partnership between HPE and Bloomberg Media, as Bloomberg Television launched the first sponsored green room in New York in February 2016.

“The Bloomberg London HPE green room is at the intersection of European business and government elite,” said Marissa Freeman, Chief Brand Officer at HPE. “Our partnership allows HPE to engage these leaders 1-on-1, and provides them with a platform to discuss business and technology in their own words. The resulting bespoke content is spot on for Bloomberg Media’s and HPE’s shared audience.”

As part of the initial partnership, Bloomberg introduced the digital video series ‘Inspire ‘, to complement HPE’s television and green room integration. In partnership with HPE, the series features candid interviews from the green room with guests after their studio appearance to reveal inspiring insights, from personal reflection to outlook on the future of their business and industry, especially as it relates to the impact of technology. The newly extended partnership will now include interviews from the HPE Green Room: London, alongside those from New York.

“Our partnership with HPE is a great demonstration of cross-platform brand integration and idea-driven solutions that go beyond conventional advertising,” said Bloomberg Media’s Head of EMEA Sales Viktoria Degtar. “Being able to extend the outstanding work we have done in the U.S. into Europe is a real proof point of our global influence and reach, and the advantage this brings to clients.”

“We feel Bloomberg is in a unique position – being the only true cross-channel business and financial news and information platform – to help us address the corporate executive and influencer audience across markets in Europe,” said Winnie Palmer, EMEA Director, Digital Marketing and Media at HPE. “There isn’t another media property offering equivalent breadth and depth like Bloomberg Media – which seamlessly delivers a local perspective with a global view.”
