New York – October 15, 2025Today, Bloomberg Media announced The Infinite Explorer with Hannah Fry, a new six-part series presented by Bloomberg Originals and National Geographic,  and produced by Atomic Television (a part of Zinc Media). Hosted by Professor Hannah Fry, the series follows her as she embarks on an epic global adventure to uncover the hidden patterns and extraordinary stories that shape our world. This is the latest Bloomberg Originals project featuring Fry, in addition to The Future with Hannah Fry, which recently won a News and Documentary Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Science and Technology Coverage.

The Infinite Explorer with Hannah Fry will air Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Bloomberg Originals, available on major streaming platforms such as Samsung TV+, Prime Video Channels, and LG channels. It will also air at 10 p.m. ET on Bloomberg TV and be available on-demand on Bloomberg.com and YouTube.

In the all-new series, Professor Hannah Fry sets off on a global adventure not just to see the world but to decode it and question the forces that shape culture, innovation and our everyday lives. Through stunning landscapes, vibrant cities and off-the-beaten-track treasures, Fry seeks out extraordinary local voices and unexpected quirks of history and geography that reveal what makes each place truly unique. With her famous curiosity, wit and insights, she peels back the layers of six iconic nations: Spain, Vietnam, Greece, South Korea, Ireland, and Iceland.

The season premiere kicks off as Fry journeys across islands, mountains and olive groves to reveal why ancient Greece was the birthplace of so many big ideas. She decodes the Parthenon’s geometry, sails the Aegean with ancient tools, tries her hand at olive farming and is swept up in a riotous flour-throwing festival that blends ancient myth with modern identity.
Audiences will join Fry throughout the season as she seeks to uncover and explore other ideas including:

  • How South Korea became a cultural and tech superpower, from esports to learning kimchi secrets from a grandmaster
  • Irish identity through economic transformation in addition to secrets hidden deep inside the Irish language
  • The rhythms of flamenco and the origins of paella in Spain
  • The pioneering spirit in Iceland and how that has been shared from its geology
