Joe Nocera Joins Bloomberg as Columnist and Feature Writer

Bloomberg View editor David Shipley announced today that Joe Nocera will join View as a columnist, writing several times a week and that he’ll also write regular features for Bloomberg Businessweek.

In a memo to staff, Shipley wrote, “Best of all, he’ll be returning to his roots, focusing on business and the cross-section of business and public policy. As many of you know, Joe spent more than a decade as a staff writer and columnist at the New York Times. Prior to that, he wrote about the business world for Fortune, Esquire, Texas Monthly and GQ.  He has won three Loebs and was a 2007 Pulitzer finalist.”

Nocera is the author of “A Piece of the Action: How the Middle Class Joined the Money Class,” “Good Guys and Bad Guys: Behind the Scenes With the Saints and Scoundrels of American Business (and Everything in Between),” “All the Devils Are Here: The Hidden History of the Financial Crisis,” which he wrote with Bethany McLean, and "Indentured: The Inside Story of the Rebellion Against The NCAA,“ which he wrote with Ben Strauss.  He starts at Bloomberg on January 9, 2017.
