Norah Mulinda is Bloomberg Television’s Markets Correspondent, broadcasting live from the network’s global headquarters in New York City.

Mulinda previously reported for Bloomberg News’ equities team, covering macro investment trends. There, she focused on US real estate stocks and aerospace and defense companies.

Mulinda regularly contributes to cross-platform coverage spanning television, radio, digital and print, offering deep analysis of the US trading day and beyond. She’s a daily contributor to the network’s flagship show The Close. She’s also a regular fill-in anchor for Bloomberg Radio programming including Surveillance, Bloomberg Intelligence and Bloomberg Businessweek.

Mulinda joined Bloomberg News in 2021, covering US equities, with a focus on real estate stocks and aerospace and defense industries. She spearheaded Bloomberg’s coverage of the July 2025 meme stock rally, and wrote an exclusive profile of the hedge-fund manager that sparked the retail trader frenzy.

Separately, she chronicled Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s potential return to public markets and its implications for shareholders. Previously, she covered Washington politics, the business of entertainment and corporate bankruptcies.

Before Bloomberg, Mulinda was an on-air healthcare reporter for CBS19 News in Charlottesville, Virginia, and worked on special programming for CNBC’s The News with Shepard Smith.

She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and a first-generation Ugandan American.
