Riyadh & New York – 9 November, 2020 – The Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG) and Bloomberg Media will collaborate to provide Arabic-language content to business audiences and decision makers across the Middle East and beyond, through Asharq Business with Bloomberg, in an exclusive content agreement. The agreement forms part of the forthcoming launch of SRMG’s new Arabic-language news service, Asharq News.

Owned and operated by SRMG, Asharq News will offer a new multi-platform Arabic-language news service, providing 24/7 coverage across the Arab world and beyond. Bloomberg’s news, analysis and data will power a key business component of the new channel, Asharq Business with Bloomberg. Asharq Business with Bloomberg will draw on Bloomberg’s comprehensive coverage from more than 2,700 journalists and analysts globally.

The Asharq Business with Bloomberg television and digital teams will have access to Bloomberg’s extensive financial and economic content, analysis, and market data, curating translated stories from Bloomberg for its platforms.

Asharq Business with Bloomberg aims to become the premier Arabic-language business news provider, using multiple platforms to reach business leaders, as well as a younger generation that understands the importance of global economic, financial, and corporate information.

The collaboration between SRMG and Bloomberg will help audiences stay informed on the people, events and ideas shaping the MENA region and international markets as they make key business decisions. The offering will gradually expand to include a radio station, an Arabic edition of Bloomberg Businessweek and a series of live events.

Asharq News will launch on 11 November 2020 with a dedicated television channel and multiple digital platforms, it will provide 24/7 coverage across the Arab world and beyond.
