Film is First Feature Documentary Under the Bloomberg Originals Brand
New York (October 25, 2023) – RUIN: Money, Ego and Deception at FTX, a feature documentary about Sam Bankman-Fried and the collapse of his cryptocurrency exchange FTX, premieres tonight on Bloomberg TV at 6pm EST and streams on Bloomberg Originals starting at 8pm EST.
Narrated by Bloomberg journalists and experts across the digital assets industry, RUIN leverages the power and resources of the Bloomberg newsroom, which has been at the forefront of the crypto story from the very beginning.

RUIN, which has a run time of 1 hour and 48 minutes, is the first feature documentary to debut under the Bloomberg Originals banner. It is directed by Shern Sharma. It joins an expanding catalog of premium video programming including Getting Warmer with Kal Penn, The Future with Hannah Fry and The Circuit with Emily Chang, and the highly-anticipated An Optimist’s Guide to the Planet hosted by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau set to debut early next year and more.
Bloomberg Originals programming streams on Bloomberg.com and the Bloomberg app on Connected TV (CTV) devices such as Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Samsung Smart TVs, and Android TV and is also available via Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, Amazon’s news app on Fire TV, Tubi, Sling, Xfinity and VIZIO WatchFree+. The programming also broadcasts during select primetime and weekend time slots on Bloomberg TV and BTV+.
