Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, John Chambers, Maurice Lévy, Will Shu to Join Bloomberg’s Sooner Than You Think Line-up in Paris, May 22 and 23

On May 22 and 23, Sooner Than You Think, a Bloomberg technology summit, will bring together leaders in technology and business at Station F in Paris to share vital insights into the trends and transformations emerging in three core subject areas: Internet of Things, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence. Bloomberg has announced new speakers to the event line-up, including Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, John Chambers, Founder & CEO, JC2 Ventures; Maurice Lévy, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Publicis Groupe; and Will Shu, Co-founder and CEO of Deliveroo.

The event will feature conversations with DeepMind Co-Founder Mustafa Suleyman; Director of U.S. National Counterintelligence & Security Center William R. Evanina; Renault Chairman and CEO Carlos Ghosn; Fleet Co-Founder and CEO Flavia Tata Nardini; French technology entrepreneur, Xavier Niel; Stripe Co-Founder, John Collison; Accenture Global CEO and Chairman, Pierre Nanterme; CEO and Founding Partner of Atomico, Niklas Zennström; NNAISENSE President Jürgen Schmidhuber; BlaBlaCar Founder and President Frédéric Mazzella, and many more.

Bloomberg’s technology and business editors, including Bloomberg Editor-in-Chief John Micklethwait, will lead the on-stage discussions. Topics will include the next generation of cybersecurity risks and solutions, how AI and machine learning will change the future of business and work as we know it, Europe’s startup success stories and the region’s unique entrepreneurial culture, and the enormous benefits and risks associated with the IoT and big data.

The event will also feature presentations of key data on the various topics from Bloomberg’s global research division, Bloomberg Intelligence.

The conversations from the event will be streamed live on Bloomberg digital platforms and will be aired globally on Bloomberg TV. The Sooner Than You Think initiative includes a special issue of Bloomberg Businessweek that will be published on May 17, a web site for Sooner Than You Think coverage throughout the year, immersive digital content and special programming on Bloomberg TV and Bloomberg Radio.
