Outrider Foundation Launches Storytelling Fellowship in Partnership With Bloomberg Green

MADISON, WI, October 5, 2022Outrider Foundation is excited to announce the launch of its fellowship program, which supports multimedia storytelling about nuclear issues and climate change.

Our inaugural fellow is Eugene Reznik, a features photo editor at Bloomberg Green, Bloomberg’s climate news division, covering the latest in environmental impacts, zero-emission tech, and green infrastructure.

“Memorable photos cultivate empathy and understanding for issues that seem distant, complicated, or opaque,” said Reznik. “I look forward to bringing attention and urgency to one of the most important stories of our time.”

Reznik will work with Bloomberg Green Executive Editor Aaron Rutkoff to produce high-impact stories highlighting climate change’s consequences.

“Visual storytelling plays a critical role in explaining the devastating impacts of the climate crisis. Eugene has an impressive track record in photojournalism, and we’re delighted to have him as our first fellow,” said Robert K. Elder, Outrider president and CEO. “Bloomberg Green is a powerhouse of climate journalism, and we are thrilled to partner with the brand.”

Reznik’s fellowship will focus on a series of multimedia features beginning in November 2022.
