China Vice Premier Liu He joins Special Session with Global Public and Private Sector Leaders at the 2021 Bloomberg New Economy Forum


BEIJING, November 19, 2021 — China’s Vice Premier Liu He joined a special session with global public and private leaders at the 2021 Bloomberg New Economy Forum. Twenty-seven delegates from seven countries participated in the virtual meeting, including Michael Bloomberg, Founder of Bloomberg L.P. and Bloomberg Philanthropies, Dr. Henry A. Kissinger, Former U.S. Secretary of State and National Security Advisor, and Henry Paulson, Former U.S. Treasury Secretary and Chairman of Paulson Institute.

At the meeting, Vice Premier Liu He and participants engaged in in-depth discussions on a number of important topics including: China’s macroeconomic development, further opening up, green and low-carbon transition, technological innovation, financial stability, US-China economic and trade relations and pragmatic cooperation.

The Bloomberg New Economy Forum was founded in 2018. The 2021 forum convened over 300 government leaders, business executives, innovators and academics from 40 countries and regions in Singapore on November 16-19.
