Bloomberg New Voices holds ‘Finding Alpha in 2022’ Networking Event in New York

On Monday, Bloomberg New Voices hosted a celebration at The Shed in New York to kick off the initiative’s 2022 work to amplify the perspectives of women and diverse executives across business and finance and start taking applications for this year’s Bloomberg-sponsored intensive media training in the New York area.

The evening featured insight from Bloomberg Chairman Peter Grauer and New Voices Founder Laura Zelenko. New Voices experts Barbara Ann Bernard, Founder and CIO of Wincrest Capital Lt, Institutional Real Estate Investment Manager Onay Payne, and VC Include CEO and Founder Bahiyah Yasmeen Robinson discussed their outlook for the economy and markets in 2022 on a panel moderated by Bloomberg TV anchor Caroline Hyde.

The New Voices initiative, which started in 2018, has helped triple the percentage of on-air female guests on Bloomberg TV to 30% as of the end of last year. The initiative has also sponsored intensive one-on-one media training to more than 300 executives worldwide and created the definitive global database of female sources in the industry with more than 7,000 names.
