Bloomberg Media Group Partners with SkyNet to Launch Myanmar’s First Multi-platform Business & Technology News Offering


Yangon, Myanmar, May 25, 2018 – Bloomberg Media Group today announced a partnership with SkyNet, the country’s leading direct-to-home pay-TV provider, to bring quality business and financial news across multiple media platforms in Myanmar.

As part of the partnership, Bloomberg will provide SkyNet with data, content, resources and training supported by Bloomberg’s more than 2,700 news professionals around the world. SkyNet will be recruiting and expanding its existing business news team, and will be producing original business and technology news programming Monday through Friday in Myanmar language.

In addition, select programming from Bloomberg’s global network will be translated and subtitled into Myanmar language for SkyNet’s subscribers. The content will be available across all platforms, including TV, digital, radio and mobile.
