Bloomberg Media and Workday Launch New Bloomberg Television Series: Chief Future Officer

New Primetime Series Explores the Evolving Role of the Chief Financial Officer

From sustainability planning, to investments in innovation, to diversity and inclusion decisions, the role of the chief financial officer (CFO) continues to evolve. CFOs are core, strategic leaders guiding organizations to the future, and now is a critical time to explore the changing role of the CFO.

Bloomberg Media is launching an innovative show, Chief Future Officer, sponsored by Workday, a leader in enterprise cloud applications for Bloomberg Television that highlights the reimagined role of the CFO, and portrays the influence of the CFO within the world’s largest and most influential organizations.

In episode one, Bloomberg’s Emily Chang explores how Levi Strauss & Co.’s CFO Harmit Singh is steering the iconic apparel brand through the disruptions of the pandemic and towards ambitious goals for sustainability and digitization. Episode two of Chief Future Officer will feature Marriott International CFO Leeny Oberg interviewed by Bloomberg’s Shery Ahn. This episode explores how Oberg is guiding the world’s largest hotel chain through a challenging period for the hospitality industry, facing labor shortages, changing customer expectations, and a sharp falloff in business travel due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Episode two will air Wednesday, December 1 at 9:30pm EST. Episodes three and four will air January 5, 2022 and February 2, 2022 respectively. The Chief Future Officer episodes will also be available as bonus episodes within Bloomberg Surveillance. Podcast episodes will coincide with the Bloomberg TV episode screening.
