For Bloomberg Media, 39 is a magic number


Move over, “Hamilton.” Last night, Bloomberg Media won an outstanding four awards at The Drum Online Media Awards in London!

On the editorial side, Bloomberg.com won Best Business Finance News Site, Best National/World News Site, and Best Use of Photography. We couldn’t be more excited to see our news colleagues lauded for the authoritative, insightful journalism they produce every day.

On the business side, Rob Huckin’s award for Sales Individual of the Year – GO ROB! – marks a superb milestone. With his win, Bloomberg Media has now been recognized by 39 advertising industry awards in 2016 – ten more than our total for the whole of 2015.

So today we’re celebrating our high-achieving, hard-working, quick-thinking teammates across the organization – from our Folio Rising Stars, who were honored earlier this year; to our Ad Ops team, recognized by MIN as the Best of the Web; to our brilliant creative content team, newly expanded and now known as Kinection. We’re truly inspired by you.  

Our Kinection colleagues, in fact, have earned a significant majority of our industry awards this year, notably in both design and video. Most recently, our video teams based in Europe, Asia and the US have been honored with numerous Telly Awards – including awards for Online Video Creative Excellence, Videograhy/Cinematography, and Online Video-Branded Content & Entertainment.
