Bloomberg Television launches new fixed income show

Today Bloomberg Television launched Bloomberg Real Yield, a new thirty minute weekly program focused solely on fixed income. Hosted by Jonathan Ferro, Bloomberg Real Yield will showcase the power of the Bloomberg Barclays Indices, providing unique insights into how viewers can use these independent benchmarks.

Bloomberg Real Yield will broadcast every Friday from 12:00-12:30pm ET and will cover the news and trends happening in the fixed income market and feature interviews with major institutional guests. By incorporating data and analysis from Bloomberg terminal bond experts, Bloomberg Real Yield will be able to dive into the topics that are truly moving the bond markets and provide viewers with the knowledge they need for the upcoming trading week.

“Bloomberg has always been a global leader in business and financial news and our new Bloomberg Real Yield program is a prime example of us continuing that tradition, this time specifically for the fixed income market with the integration of the Bloomberg Barclays Indices. The program will deliver the unique data and analysis that Bloomberg viewers have come to rely on when making critical business decisions,” said Al Mayers, Global Head of Television and Radio.

Since 1973, the Bloomberg Barclays Indices have been the most widely used indices for fixed income investors seeking objective, rules-based, and representative benchmarks to measure asset-class risk and returns. In August 2016, Bloomberg L.P. acquired Barclays Risk Analytics and Index Solutions Ltd.
