NEW YORK, NY – April 20, 2026– Bloomberg Media today announced that the Emmy-nominated Originals series Bloomberg Primer returns for a second season, premiering Wednesday, April 22, for a six-episode run. Narrated by Caroline Hyde, co-host of Bloomberg Tech, each 30-minute episode of Bloomberg Primer cuts through the complex jargon to reveal the business behind technologies poised to transform global markets.
The first episode premieres at 6pm ET on Wednesday, April 22 on Bloomberg Television and 8pm ET on Bloomberg Originals. Primer will additionally be available on Bloomberg’s new digital video experience and on the Bloomberg mobile app’s “Stream” tab beginning April 22. The six-episode series, rolling out weekly every Wednesday, is available on major streaming platforms such as LG Channels, Samsung TV+, Prime Video Channels, and Tubi.
Bloomberg Primer was recently nominated for the 47th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards in the “Outstanding Cold Open or Title Sequence: News” category.
This season of Primer explores where technological hype meets the realities of scale, cost and competition in a rapidly changing world. Audiences will get a look into the global race to crack China’s battery dominance, how AI is pushing chipmaking to its limits, the race to merge AI with humanoid robots, making new nuclear fuel for an atomic renaissance, the global business of adapting to flood risks, and how the electrical grid is being rebuilt for AI.
