Bloomberg Originals Series “Power Players: F1” hosted by Jason Kelly Premieres Today

New York – October 23, 2025Today, Bloomberg Media announced Power Players returns for a brand new season which takes a deep dive into the business of Formula One. Hosted by Bloomberg Originals Chief Correspondent and co-host of The Deal, Jason Kelly, Power Players: F1 follows Kelly as he goes behind the scenes with Ferrari, Alpine, Williams and at the Miami Grand Prix to see how everyone is keeping pace with the competition as the sport’s popularity and global reach continue to expand at breakneck speed.

Power Players: F1 airs Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. ET on Bloomberg Originals, available on major streaming platforms such as Samsung TV+, Prime Video Channels, and LG channels. Episodes 1 & 2 air at 6:30 p.m. ET with episodes 3 & 4 airing at 10:30pm ET on Bloomberg TV. All are available on-demand on Bloomberg.com and YouTube.

In the premier episode, “Week of the Life of an F1 Driver,” Jason Kelly follows Pierre Gasly from Alpine Headquarters to a Paris photo shoot to get a firsthand look at how the business of being an F1 driver goes far beyond the track. Following on from that: 

  • Oct. 30: The Future of Ferrari: Kelly heads to Maranello, Italy, to speak with Ferrari’s leadership about the coming regulatory changes for Formula 1 and how Ferrari’s racing technology informs the road cars of today
  • Nov. 6: Inside the Miami Grand Prix: Kelly joins Miami Grand Prix Managing Partner Tom Garfinkel as he tackles the complexities of putting on the race, and F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali reveals why it is key to F1’s future growth
  • Nov. 13: Inside Motorsport Valley’s High-Tech Future: Kelly visits the UK’s Motorsport Valley, where Williams Team Principal James Volwes and F1 Academy drivers’ champion Abbi Pulling show how advanced simulation is shaping the future of Formula 1

Bloomberg Media’s total monthly cross-platform video audience grew 16% year-over-year to more than 60 million average monthly viewers through the first half of 2025. Overall video hours watched were also up 34% YoY driven by a range of live news, original series and short-form documentaries. Over that time, Bloomberg Media overall reached more than 100 million monthly users across digital, video, audio and print, up 6% YoY.
