Bloomberg Television Launches “Longevity with David Rubenstein”

New Monthly Program Explores the Science, Challenges, and Breakthroughs Behind Living Longer and Healthier Lives

July 15, 2025 – New York, NY – Bloomberg Television today announced the launch of “Longevity with David Rubenstein,” a new monthly program by the Carlyle Group Co-Founder and Co-Executive Chairman, and Bloomberg Television host David Rubenstein. The series will examine one of the most urgent and captivating questions of our time: how can we live longer – and better?

Longevity with David Rubenstein dives into the rapidly evolving world of medical research, pharmaceuticals, and science-backed wellness to uncover the facts behind the growing human pursuit of extended, healthier living. The show premieres July 22, airing at 9:00pm ET on Bloomberg TV. As innovation accelerates across medicine and wellness, distinguishing credible information from misinformation has become increasingly challenging. Longevity with David Rubenstein offers a forum for clear, evidence-based discussions to help audiences navigate a rapidly evolving health landscape.

“This series takes a closer look at the scientific and medical breakthroughs that are reshaping how we think about aging and health. What can we learn from today’s research to help us live longer — and live better?” said Rubenstein.

In each episode, Rubenstein draws on Bloomberg’s data-driven journalism to explore key issues that impact longevity – from groundbreaking therapies and drug innovations to the major health challenges still limiting lifespan, including obesity, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer. Through conversations with leading scientists, physicians, policy experts, and more, Rubenstein offers viewers a clear, compelling view of where the science stands – and where it’s heading.

“Health and longevity are topics of growing global interest, and we believe viewers are looking for credible, intelligent coverage in this space,” said David Merritt, Head of Bloomberg Media Editorial. “With Longevity with David Rubenstein, we’re bringing audiences expert-driven insights, grounded in data and science, on one of the most compelling issues of our time.”

Longevity is Rubenstein’s third collaboration with Bloomberg Media, he is also the host of “The David Rubenstein Show: Peer to Peer Conversations” and “Bloomberg Wealth with David Rubenstein.”
